CANCELLATION POLICY

Clients are not required to pay a cancellation fee if they cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.

If the appointment is cancelled within 48 hours, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total fee applies.

If cancelled within 24 hours, the full amount is charged.

REIMBURSEMENT BY HEALTH INSURANCE

Applications for therapy reimbursement are generally not approved by statutory health insurance providers.

Some private health insurance providers offer reimbursement for therapy costs in specific cases and subject to consultation with a physician.

The advantage of paying privately is that no data is shared with third parties—such as insurance companies—as would be the case with billing through private health insurance providers.

TAX DEDUCTIBILITY

In principle, therapy costs can be claimed for tax purposes in Germany if a medical certificate from a public health officer (*Amtsarzt*) is provided, or a certificate stating that the reason for treatment constitutes an "extraordinary financial burden" (*außergewöhnliche Belastung*).

You may need to clarify this with the referring physician or the tax office.
