ABOUT
I am, as the saying goes, a humanist. I have always been. My interest in people of all kinds and backgrounds has always driven me not to limit myself to a single profession, culture, or even country.
For me, a fulfilled life has always meant filling it with people, getting to know them, listening to them and thereby gaining the insights that are commonly known as "Menschenkenntnis", the understanding of human nature.
Whether as a photographer, film director, author or visual artist, the experiences I have shared with people throughout my life have provided me with what I consider the essential premise of any good therapy.
Empathy and understanding.
These qualities have always been both to me, a lifelong interest and a constant motivation.
That is why, years ago, I began studying the different concepts of psychotherapy and over time developed the "Philotherapy" from it.
